G&F Called me

Got a call from the G&F Dept yesterday.

The lady wanted to know if I had made a mistake on my app.

She asked if I wanted the Dec. whitetail hunt with only 50 permits instead of the Oct. hunt which has 500 permits

Oh, you mean the one that is at the same time the 500 Carp hunters will be out there?

I told her despite what the commissioners think, hunters want Quality,

NOT opertunity.

She got a good laugh out of it too.

Hey, at least they called.

They called me today also. First time they ever called me. Wanted to know if I used the new hunt numbers or the ones from last year. We verified the numbers together and they wre correct. Have you figured out Avion yet Gamehauler? I'll have another question in the other section.

G+F called my buddy less than two weeks ago but it was for different reasons..........they asked him if he wanted a 7W Archery Bull tag!!!! They said he was next on the list and someone couldn't pay for their tag.....so they gave it to him! Lucky sob!!! I couldn't believe they were still working on the elk draw stuff! I guess that means there is STILL hope!!! JIM>

Two of my buddies scored on 5B tags the exact same way COOSEFAN. They happened to be next on the list (applied together....). Good for them!
