singleshot Report post Posted May 26, 2015 When this bird got in close Sarah got a little too excited and pushed the slide release on my 870 instead of pushing the safety off. Instead of the 2 3/4 load of fours, he took a 3 inch mag with 2 oz. of fours at 25 yards. I had put the heavy load as the first in the magazine in case she needed a second shot.
