wyguy Report post Posted May 22, 2015 What do you think? Got T-boned on my way to work the other day, not at fault. I have it in at the Body Shop with the other guy's insurance taking care of it. I started worrying about whether they would just consider it "totaled." And just send a compensation check or whatever. Really hope it doesnt come to that, as I love this truck and its fun driving What do you all think? Is it going to end the way I want?

elkaholic Report post Posted May 22, 2015 unless your axle /frame is bent / then maybe but I doubt they will say its totaled to be honest I've seen a lot worse than that just repaired the body shop should know !
wyguy Report post Posted May 22, 2015 was it some sissy with a truck that drove ittself? Lark. The guy that hit ya musta been trying to back his trailer up with his new autopilot So, I work at Home Depot by the Flagstaff Mall, and it was actually one of my regular customers that was pulling out of Home Depot parking lot. I mean you know what Forrest Gump says "Sh** happens." Accidents happen and I know I tboned someone once. Not trying to get mad at the guy that did it. Thanks for the reassurance there Elkaholic! murfys69law Report post Posted May 22, 2015 I agree. That doesn't look that bad as I worked in a body shop for a while. Even if the axle is bent they can replace it or straighten the frame if it's not bent to bad. Sorry it happened but Forrest was right. Good luck.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted May 22, 2015 If the frame is bent, I would rather they total it. But it just looks like a new bed is in order.

HuntHarder Report post Posted May 22, 2015 If they decide to total it, you might be able to buy it back for cheap and just pick up a used rear quarter panel, paint it and your done.
Couescrazy33 Report post Posted May 22, 2015 If the damage repair is more than its worth it's totaled
Hunterjohnny Report post Posted May 23, 2015 I bet they just do a side panel, that's what mine ended up with similar damage.
