SilentButDeadly Report post Posted May 14, 2007 To be brief, I call him the Big G2 because his G2's are over 11 inches. I found a matched set of his sheds last year. I thought he might have been the buck I killed in September, but he wasn't. I saw him in February and took some photos. This morning I found one of his sheds from 2 years ago while out searching for this year's rack (which has thus far eluded me). Last year's rack February This mornings 2 year old shed. SilentButDeadly Report post Posted October 15, 2007 So here is my problem: I found another antler from the buck this morning 3/4 of a mile from where I found the last one - making this a set. However, I'm not sure if this is an antler from this year (2006) or the other side of 2 years ago (2004) (I'm certain I've got 2005). I found the other side 5 months ago, but both sides look to be similarly aged - this antler however was out in the open getting rain and sun on it all summer and still looks to be in as good of shape as the other one... Here are some photos -

SilentButDeadly Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Man, That's a tough problem to have bro, I feal for ya! It's all about the sun. I usually spend part of everyday feeling sorry for myself, the other part of the day I am out looking for the other sheds that this buck has dropped!
aztrophytakers Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Neo, Look at the pedicles very closely. They should be the same size if they are from the same year. You should be able to tell as opposed to the others antlers you have from this buck. Very sweet deer by the way.
GRONG Report post Posted October 16, 2007 Ya man I'd be sorely depressed and willing to just give the antlers away to someone that has a shade of orange named after him. BTW, were you wearing your new cw.com shirt when you found it?
