Explorer Report post Posted July 3, 2015 no hunting allowed in granite dells. Nothing west of Robert road and north of 89a. There are some big ones in there though. Thanks to G&F giving into the prescott tree huggers you cannot hunt with a bow within a quarter mile of any occupied structure in northern 17b/19b. New regulations after someone shot a deer in front of some cidiot crybabys last year..

654321 Report post Posted July 12, 2015 There is no shooting within a 1/4 mile of an occupied structure anywhere anytime in AZ. Just ask John Mclendon and Shawn Wagner. John's client shot a rifle not a bow and then lied about having permission from land owner. The 1/4 mile rule only applies to firearms; however some cities have rules against discharging either guns or bows in city limits.
