chico Report post Posted May 21, 2015 This subject always comes up on this site. IMHO get what you want , can afford, and can maintain. Some on here do their own maintenance and repair on their vehicles as do I. Will say this my 02 with 7.3 is a running jenny and I have not walked anywhere. Good luck on your quest for a vehicle. 8OWHUNT247 Report post Posted May 21, 2015 Not to mention the truck itself is superior in all aspects aswell. We'll see if all of these Cummins Lovers start buying Nissans next year!! LOL
Swivelhead Report post Posted May 22, 2015 I've got an 03 F350 LBCC 6.0 PSD. Yeah, I had the oil cooler issue. Got it cured. $$$$. Other than that, it has been a very good truck. It's lifted 8" and is my daily driver. I've twisted this long azz truck through a lot of rough roads that it should not have been on. Got no issue with the truck, it's solid. Providing you can verify a 6.0 has had all the fixes, one can get a good deal as the 6.0 reputation was earned and resale reflects it.
azphil Report post Posted May 22, 2015 Stick with the old school engine and technology as long as you can. Cheaper to repair and more dependable.

Managed to wedge the new ram 6.7 4*4 in the garage. Lol
