jgraffaz Report post Posted May 20, 2015 I drew a 22s bull tag and am going to purchase a flat line map of the area. I plan on hunting a lot of areas near the boarder of 22n and it seems that the northern section of the 22s is on the 22n map...anyone had this issue?

mbiewer Report post Posted May 20, 2015 I bought the 22n map. And then when we got drawn for 23 for deer and turkey I noticed the same thing. the unit split isn't the same as the map split
jeremiahjohnson Report post Posted May 20, 2015 Yup, had to buy both
Str8Shot Report post Posted May 20, 2015 Now why would they give you all on one, if they can get you to buy both?
mbiewer Report post Posted May 21, 2015 I don't think its a marketing strategy as much as it is a geographical setback. Especially for 22n/s 22north isn't actually all that big (unit percentage wise). I think they find the geographical middle and cut the map. Same thing for 23. for "easy" reference, the road that drives through the middle of young is part of the boundary for the unit split. Theres way more real estate south of young
