Siwash Report post Posted May 20, 2015 Nothing for scale in these pics, but obviously neither are big bears. Just curious if the consensus is that it is a sow and a cub. Also curious if the two tone bear just has a wet coat? Note the one in the background in first pic looks like a cub. Second pic has both bears, hard to establish if one is older/larger than the other. Third pic is just cool Last pic is just a different angle on bear featured in 2nd pic. GreyGhost85 Report post Posted May 20, 2015 Looks like a sow and a cub to me. Beautiful bear, and yes, probably "two tone". It doesn't look wet

kidso Report post Posted May 20, 2015 Sweet bear. Unshootable with her cub though. It looks like she is two tone with shedding occurring, especially from the last photo angle.

Explorer Report post Posted May 21, 2015 Sweet bear. Unshootable with her cub though. It looks like she is two tone with shedding occurring, especially from the last photo angle. When does a cub mature enough to not be considered a cub? As long as it is with its mom is it a cub?
photofool Report post Posted May 22, 2015 If you scale in the distance, I don't think that's a cub It's mating season.
