PhxDT Report post Posted May 14, 2015 Total rookie move. I went to pickup my first shoulder mount in my 4runner. I get there, and there was zero chance of getting it in. I did, however take a photo of it. It won't score well because of the small G3's but its mine. It took 2.5 years to get it ready. Great memories. Now, I have been able to persuade my wife to put it in our living room (we have 18 foot celings and we can hide it in a spot up there). Her primary worry is it attracting bugs. Please tell me she has nothing to worry about!
Becker Report post Posted May 14, 2015 As long as the hide was tanned properly and the skull cap cleaned properly as well you should not have any big problems. Generally speaking birds and animals with horns are the ones to worry about.

4Falls Report post Posted May 14, 2015 Taxidermy requires a certain amount of maintenance. Part of that maintenance should be a little bug spray. In all honesty your lamps attract more bugs than that head will and im sure you have lamps in your living room. Great looking bull, congratulations.
