How big do you think this buck is?

Notta biggun. 65-75". Really hard to judge goats by just a couple photos

Tough to tell mass and length of prongs but his length looks good. He is still gonna add some before season. I'd guess he will end up mid 70's?

 

 

Are you saying the Antelope don't have much growth left in them i.e. what you see is what you get, basically? These spring rains won't help much with more growth? Just trying to get an idea for my goat hunt.

they will still grow a little bit. they shed their horns in november/december i believe and they start growing back almost immediately. if a buck is going to end up big in august/september, he'll already look big, if that makes sense?

He's correct. Keep looking. You'll know a big one when you see one!

Sorry didn't mean to make it sound like he wouldn't grow more. He will definitely grow more. June is a huge month of growth for them. Check out pronghorn guide service blog. They have pictures of Mike gallos world record buck alive in June and then pics of him when he was killed and he definitely added a bunch on length.
