double lunger14 Report post Posted May 13, 2015 Got out today for some turkey action but the wind was too bad. Switched over and scouted for my goat hunt. How does his buck look?

bonecollector777 Report post Posted May 13, 2015 Tough to tell mass and length of prongs but his length looks good. He is still gonna add some before season. I'd guess he will end up mid 70's?

Just trying to get an idea for my goat hunt.
GreyGhost85 Report post Posted May 13, 2015 they will still grow a little bit. they shed their horns in november/december i believe and they start growing back almost immediately. if a buck is going to end up big in august/september, he'll already look big, if that makes sense?

bonecollector777 Report post Posted May 14, 2015 Sorry didn't mean to make it sound like he wouldn't grow more. He will definitely grow more. June is a huge month of growth for them. Check out pronghorn guide service blog. They have pictures of Mike gallos world record buck alive in June and then pics of him when he was killed and he definitely added a bunch on length. http://www.pronghornguideservice.com/blog
