BASS Report post Posted May 10, 2007 If there is a tree anywhere near where I'm shooting, it's dead. Who else the uncanny ability to kill those dang things? I guess this thread would also be a good excuse to post a photo of the infamous "Arrow Tree" up near Alpine. That is all, you may now continue to browse CWT willfully. GameHauler Report post Posted May 10, 2007 Thanks, That reminds me of tjhunt2 brother. A couple years ago he shot at a bull and heard the wack of the arrow making solid contact. Watched as the bull ran off knowing he made a good hit. Rather than push the bull he came back to camp to get some help tracking it. His father and I were there and after a little wait we went to find the bull. Not finding any blood we started looking for his arrow. After a few minutes I found it stuck nicly in the center of a tree Nice shooting Larry

GameHauler Report post Posted May 10, 2007 And then there was Toms buddy Gary Who knew he had just drilled a bull. He did hit right where he was aiming. The problem is that horns are not considered Vital Organs
mattys281 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 I'm, personally, getting quite sick of those darned trees jumping in front of us like that. It's hard enough getting w/in bow range without having to deal with that kind of crap! I missed a deer opening day last Sept. because of that same thing. BRYCE CANYON Report post Posted May 11, 2007 The "arrow tree" is actually on Mt. Graham, not Alpine.
BASS Report post Posted May 11, 2007 The "arrow tree" is actually on Mt. Graham, not Alpine. Really? I was told there was one up near Alpine. The owner of "the bear wallow" restaurant said it was just a few miles away. I guess as long as there are people like the ones in this thread there will be many. azcouesandelk Report post Posted May 11, 2007 Looks like the same tree to me. Look at the top branch on the right hand side. All I can think of when I see that is all the money stuck in that tree
BASS Report post Posted May 11, 2007 All I can think of when I see that is all the money stuck in that tree Yeah, I would have to be pretty hyped up to stick an eight dollar arrow into a tree.... on purpose.
