Custom Savage 6.5 Creedmoor "for sale"

Recommended Posts

I am now selling my other Savage 6.5 Creedmoor. Rifle has about 350 rounds through it. I have 64 very precise loaded rounds that also go with gun. Brass is nosler, cci-br2 primers, h4350 @ 41.4 gn, and loaded with Berger 140 gn VLD hunting bullets. I will also provide the buyer with all the specs i have for this rifle like seating depth, powder info, throat info, headspace info, ect. This gun produces 2" groups at 750 yards. 2800 fps. This rifle is very precise and accurate. I am asking 2000.00 for everything above. Please see below for all other info. Does not come with scope or rings.

Rifle parts:

Savage model 10 action

Shilen stainless steel select match 26" 6.5 Creedmoor

NSS recoil lug and barrel nut

Rifle basix trigger set at 1.5 lbs

PTG fluted bolt body and PTG bolt head

Glades Armory bolt knob

Karsten comb

HS Precision PSV 118 stock has been bedded with devcon

Harris bipod HBLS swivel model with s/lock

20 moa Valdada base

64 loaded rounds;

Nosler brass annealed after every firing

CCI Br2 primers

Berger VLD 140 gn hunting bullets

H4350 at 41.4 gn

2800 fps ES 10 SD 4

This gun produces less than 1/4 groups consistently at 100 yards. Rifle with scope weights 11.5 lbs. This scope only weights 1.5 lbs so gun is about 10 lbs give or take 1/2 lbs

Sightron SIII 6-24X50 FFP LRMOA is the scope. I would sell the scope with the gun but I will need it for my next build.

Quick question. The cheek rest you have on it. Did you have to drill thru the stock or does it crimp in the stock. My friend is looking for some sort of cheek rest for new rifle he bought.

The cheek rest is a karsten and yes you have to drill holes. These are about the best cheek rest you can have.

I plan to do another shilen just like the one below but just have not decided on a caliber yet. May do 6.5x284 or may go all out and do a 338 lapua.

She is sold. A bench rest shooter took it to a match and won the match.
