I have a 5 pound jug with 1.5 pounds remaining in it. $25 FTF in north Phoenix area. Can meet at Bass Pro Shops in Mesa Monday-Thursday

I'll let you know...

The powder is perfectly good though. I'd guess 2 years old, kept in the house. My .270 barrel just didn't last as long as my powder supply for it and my new 6.5-06 tube likes H4831 and H1000.

Oh Im not saying Id throw it out, Ive got about 5# of my own R22 that I would like to combine into one jug.

I have heard that you should never combine powder. I am talking about the same brand and type. Ever hear this or have you done this before? Just curious.

I wouldn't be concerned. I would want to make sure it was well blended and I would start a little low on your loads and cross check to your previous chrono data, which is wise with many powders anyway when staring with a new lot number. Burn rates vary from lot to lot...

I've combined powders for years. Never ever had even the slightest issues, in fact it is helpful because I don't have to worry about redeveloping my load from lot to lot.
