Chris Report post Posted May 9, 2015 This is a category that I'd like to see tacked, elk taken that have any palmation! I've seen only one in person (alive) in 35 years of hunting!
bwp22 Report post Posted May 9, 2015 This should be a cool thread. We saw a awesome bull in unit one last year that had a palmated right main beam. Looked like a moose hybrid! By the time I dug out the camera he was gone.

CWpredator Report post Posted May 9, 2015 is this the kind of palmation you're looking for? One of my good friend has this set and 2 or 3 other sets with some similar palmation to them. Palmation is like anything else non typical. You don't see it to often but they are out there.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted May 9, 2015 Those sheds look very much like a bull we saw a few times we called "Webhead" about 15 years ago that a lot of locals knew. Then saw another bull about 5 years ago in the same area that was similar. Father son or gramps son is what we were thinking. And the hill in the background looks very much like where we saw them both near.
