tjhunt2 Report post Posted April 29, 2015 I'v been up in Tonto Basin the last couple weeks and only got out on Roosevelt once due to the wind and the weekenders. Only caught 2 fish all day. Did manage to sneak down to Apache a week ago and got in to some nice catfish. All were caught between noon and 4pm. Had to stop fishing because the live well was full. 12 catfish weighed 79.5lbs. Had 8 bass but all on the small size. These catfish demolished our lines but what a blast to bring in on 8lb test line. I think Roosevelt will be good fishing with the warm weather moving in. Here's a few pictures from last week. Smallest was 6.5 and the largest went 8.14. This guy tried to get in our boat.
