ROBERT RIVERA Report post Posted May 4, 2007 I'm thinking about buying a .410 or 20ga for my daughter, who is currently 9 years old. She definitely needs a youth model. I have a .22 magnum for her that is definitely too big yet... I started my daughter out with 410/22 rossi. It does not come with butt pad and took a while for her to get use to. but the price @ 85$ sportsauthority was just right.you can also get 20g/22.
corkin it Report post Posted May 4, 2007 Got my son a single shot 20 Guage. Cut the butt to fit right and put on a limbsaver pad. He shoots training loads like a champ. The training loads have minimal kick. I get them from ableammo.com. Good luck and have fun. Jake
dds Report post Posted May 4, 2007 Muskrat, Rossi is making a new youth gun that is 20 guage, 22LR and 243. It should be a great all around for a child for a few years. http://www.rossiusa.com/products/product-d...gory=MATCHEDSET
