Basser15 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 Didn't post pics of these animals yet and figured it is nice to see some photos during the offseason as well. Here is my 2014 early November buck from one of the southern units. Cool buck with some sweet character that ended up getting him right at the 100" mark. 350 yard shot as he stood up out of his bed. Couldn't have gotten him without the help of Ron and Tyler. Then in early January I was able to make it back down to Mexico with some good friends for our annual trip. Man I love Mexico! On top of a great time we were able to take home some awesome animals. Here is my biggest buck to date. We taped him in camp at 113" and then recently I had another friend put him at 116". Either way, he is a stud and I couldn't be more happy with him. Thank you to my buddy Hunter and his Dad Pat for their help. And for the record....when you buy a new range finder make sure that you check it is ranging in yards and not meters. Unfortunately this experience turned in to more of a rodeo than it should have. Here is a pic of the buck Hunter was able to take. A really cool and wide buck with starts of a double dropper. Each cheater was about an inch long. And for kicks, here are some photos of a bear we glassed up and watched for a while. First time seeing an Oso in Mexico.
