AZkiller Report post Posted April 26, 2015 So on day two of a frustrating turkey hunt, I head back into camp and notice I have a skunk marshal behind me as I get out of my truck. He then accuses me of forgetting my tag, driving too fast and wreckless basically looking to ban me for life! I could not belive what what a jerk this guy was! The craziest thing was none of that happened! This fish cop was the nicest I have encountered in the field! We B.S.ed for a while and discussed hunts and tags. Very nice to meet you Shawn! All officers in the field should take note of this one. Keep em state side Kickin' Wing!

mattys281 Report post Posted April 26, 2015 Ive had a couple run ins with their officers and honestly couldnt say a bad word about any that I've encountered. Theyve always been polite and helpful. Im glad you posted about a positive experience, I think their officers often get a bad name because people are unhappy about political stuff tha. happens waaaay above their pay grade. These guys in the trucks are hourly wage earners trying to support themselves and their families like the rest of us.

AZkiller Report post Posted April 26, 2015 Could someone translate this to English for me? It means Shawn Wagner gets a hall pass since he's a nice friendly guy... Don't think he needs a pass. After hearing the story I'm pretty sure I and most of us would have done the same thing. The only thing you could fault him for is being too honest with his superiors and that's exactly what I want out of an officer.
