AZ8 Report post Posted April 28, 2015 After sleeping in due to the snowstorm, we walked a mile down this two track. My buddy killed his turkey at 830am in 4A. Felt like we were on a late elk hunt! Lol
Red Sparky Report post Posted April 28, 2015 Good Job on the turkey. The wind, rain, and little snow didn't help us at all over here in NM. We still have a few more weeks for my daughter so will see. We saw turkeys every day but the wind had them too jumpy.
mbiewer Report post Posted April 28, 2015 we were in 23. I got a cold/sore throat that I toted all turkey camp weekend long. That's an awesome picture of the snow. Thought we had it rough. rain and sleet Friday afternoon, rained Friday night. Saturday at about 5 it rained until at least 6 (that's when I hit the snooze button). And again sunday afternoon. One decent day of weather, Monday when we had to pack up and go home. congrats on the turkey tag filling. We got 2 of the 4 filled for our group
tjhunt2 Report post Posted April 28, 2015 Looks like winter hunting season instead of spring season. I'll bet it's going to be much better as the season rolls on. Good luck everyone. TJ

Lol image.jpg We were in 4A also. Called in a tom Fri morning and Sat morning, but couldn't get a shot. Decided to pack up the tent camp and head home late Sat morning to miss the weather. Congrats on your success!
