Swivelhead Report post Posted April 19, 2015 Yes...The coatings on the glass are different.Swarodur, Swarobright on the newer versions. Think 2005 was the year the upgrade occurred. It's fairly easy to find out what a particular optic has for upgraded coatings. Get the serial# & contact swarovski. Ask the questions you need answered via email. couesfreak23 Report post Posted April 19, 2015 I had same questions when I purchased the olive green version s so I contacted swarovski and they informed me that there's is no difference in glass quality and coatings besides one coat swaroclean which helps you clean lens much easier.
