Its all one big chit-pot of music these days. It started when Garth started prancing all over the stage way back when. There's just as much rap and drum machine in country music as there is on hip hop stations.

 

Speaking of oddities (-not trying to hijack the thread-) but this goes right along with Liam Nieson being violently opposed to guns. He was asked about the gun usage in all of his films , and he said It was "just make believe" and people don't need guns

OK that was probably an over generalization but when you think about it........the list of movies I can go to with my wife have decreased over the years as she has banned numerous actors and actresses..........pretty soon won't be able to listen to any music or go to any movies..........wait, I have a unit 1 archery bull tag, I don't need music or movies

Frankly, I don't respect him anymore now..... I respect him less..... He agreed to do it, but only backed-out because of the hype/controversy??? Weak, IMO..... If you make a commitment, then stick to it. He obviously supported the cause in his heart when he originally signed-up.

Its too bad, I like quite a few of his songs and it seems like the last couple of years hes one of the few that still has some music that sounds countryish. Now all I'll see is an 'I (heart) obama' sticker whenever they play one. Thanks a lot Tim!
