levers Report post Posted April 7, 2015 My neighborhood has a pretty bad problem with a couple coyotes. They've killed several animals lately including a neighbor's goat last week. Shooting them is not an option. Does anyone have any of the large live traps that I could borrow or rent for a little while?

couesdan Report post Posted April 8, 2015 Good luck with the live traps. Coyotes usually will not go in them. I know a few guys who have been trapping for some time and have only caught a couple in live traps over many years! You can use a leg hold trap on private property. Not trying to be a know it all just my 2 cents.

rageinthesage Report post Posted April 8, 2015 I would call game & fish, I would think they could help with the situation being that they are a threat to life and property.
AZbowhntr Report post Posted April 8, 2015 +1 on the G and F. My in-laws live in a retirement community that had tons of coyotes so they had G and F come in and relocate several of them. Of course now they have rabbits running everywhere.
