New site asked me to merge my accounts.

When I created my account it found another account with my name and phone number. And asked if I wanted to merge them. Wtf is that about and did anyone else get this? it also said it was against the law if I wasn't the other account and I had to confirm that it was me.

Its all the same info unless you are in witness protection. The only new info would be an e-mail adress, phone # or address. Chill.
