KaibabHunter Report post Posted March 30, 2015 I just called the FS for clarification on the camping rules and kinda went on a little rant to the guy about the TMP... He stated they take comments on the TMP and consider opening roads back up for public use if there is demand. If this is of interest to anyone, emails can be sent to: cwcusumano01@fs.fed.us

KaibabHunter Report post Posted March 30, 2015 Sorry, Travel management plan I.e. all the forest roads the Feds no longer allow access to, camping restrictions, and motorized travel restrictions (even to retrieve downed game). Here's a couple links that effect Coconino County as an example (check the county you hunt): Areas approved for off road elk retrieval. http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprd3817477.pdf Map downloads showing "legal" roads. http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/coconino/landmanagement/projects/?cid=stelprdb5356224
