.270 Report post Posted March 28, 2015 hunted with some friends several years ago there. one shot a mid eighties net buck. really nice. saw one that looked considerably larger, but never got him. there are some access issues, but you can get around all right. the little zuni rez kinds gets in the way. you should do well. i'd make at least one trip before the season to get familiar with the area. i'd take that hunt any time.
