ready2hunt Report post Posted March 25, 2015 One of the saddest days so far....like a tragic ending to a story my daughter just can't handle our new pup. She is allergic and its literally breaking my families heart. We had been pet sitting for this very reason with no issues but apparently constant exposure was to much for my daughter. After constant allergies (meds were not helping) and then one big allergic reaction we have decided that for my daughters health we should pass our dog along to another loving family. We had named her "Belle" and she is the perfect little pup. If you are interested in a dog please reach out to me. I feel like we are losing a family member but my daughters health trumps our desire for this beautiful dog. Belle is a boxer/coonhound pup. $250 for her, her collar/leash, feed bowls and a bag a feed all included. We love this little doggy- I have always loved dogs but am seriously worked about this...is that pathetic lol? Let me know if you or someone you know is interested. I'd her to go to someone here vs craigslist. Thanks everyone!!! pm me or text/call (48zero) 628-1720

ready2hunt Report post Posted March 25, 2015 Major bummer! yes not all dander created equally. That is exactly what the Dr. said. It took a long delicate explanation so my daughter didn't feel like it's her fault. Nothing pathetic about being worked up over a dog, they are not called mans best friend for no reason. Mine is on his last leg and I am beside myself daily. Good luck on finding a good home. Thanks for the support. Sorry to hear about your dog. Maybe its been too many years but I dont remember being so attached haha. I think I am taking harder than my kids.
goinhuntn Report post Posted March 25, 2015 I feel your pain my son was allergic to everything especially pet dander when he was younger. he has outgrown most of it he is 19 now. The neighbors had a litter of chihuhahas when he was about 12 & they didn't seem to bother him & he wanted one so we got one. I have always had heelers & wanted another one, but wasn't sure how he would do around it. We found a couple heeler pups at the pound & we got one & it doesn't bother him. Cats are what really messes him up. Long story short hopefully your daughter will grow out of it. My son is a mess during the spring, but is a lot better than when he was little. Lucky Draw Report post Posted March 26, 2015 Sorry to see this, but imagine Belle will find a good home soon. Our family adopted a dog from the Pima County Shelter last summer that looks a lot like this dog. It was billed as a Boxer mix and about one year old. Very bright dog (already had basic commands and house training under control) and loves to run and fetch. Can post pictures of what Belle might look like in another year or so if anyone is interested. Free bump and good luck with sale.
