300wm Report post Posted March 22, 2015 I have this classic savage lever action in 243 win. I have researched this rifle and it was made in the mid 1950s due to the letter stamp on the bottom receiver. This is a rare caliber in this model and could sell between $1,000 - $1,200 in excellent condition. I am asking $650 due to the condition its in. There is a 1 1/2 inch hairline crack in the top buttstock, also a couple gouges as well.Shown in the pictures. This rifle can be brought back to excellent condition for any gun collectors out there. Located in Tucson AZ. Cash only in person. Asking $650

300wm Report post Posted June 7, 2015 No I'm not the original owner. Inherited it from a family member that was the original owner and no I have never fired it myself. It has iron sights and a scope can be mounted on the rifle.
