Maybe a little TMI there Lark! But I totally know what you mean. And, I know that what you said is true, you are an elk hunting machine! You remember that year when you took that guy on the early rifle hunt and got that big ol bull right before me and my guy got back the to shoot him? Mason

well yes i do think i remember that 'lil mace. there's been so many they kinda run together, but i remember that slug of a bull. it weighed over 560lbs gutted and skinned with the head and forlegs cut off, at the locker plant. that thing was so tough you couldn't drive a nail in it with a hilti gun. what a bull. thanks for remindin' me. Lark.

that particular bull was a 5x7 that grossed over 400. didn't net well because of the 5x7 deal. had 7 points over 20" long. truly an old monarch. extremely old bull. i hung another bull that was within a few pounds of this one, but didn't have near the rack. he was in the 350 range. another old whitey too. my youngest son killed one a few years ago that looked bigger than either of these. had to horseback him out, so no good way to weigh it, but i'm sure it was heavier. it scores over 400 as well and was incredibly old. Lark.
