jhedg Report post Posted March 21, 2015 Was wondering how so many people know what they got drawn for? I have no idea. Do some just put in for one area? is it that simple. Congrats to all who got drawn
Flatlander Report post Posted March 21, 2015 If you applied electronically the CC you used to apply may show a charge from AZGFD now. All antelope hunts, and almost all elk hunts can only be drawn as a 1st or 2nd choice on your application. So if you have a charge on your credit card for either $135 or $90 you Basically know that you have drawn one of two hunts at most.
GJMauro12 Report post Posted March 21, 2015 I only used one choice for elk and antelope so I know where I'm going for antelope. Still waiting for the highly unlikely elk charge to show up
jhedg Report post Posted March 24, 2015 So my card was hit for elk early the first day, does that mean I probably got my first or second choice for ELK
murfys69law Report post Posted March 24, 2015 My card showed "Government & Fire Services. It was for $135 so I know it's for elk.

rossislider Report post Posted March 24, 2015 I put my son, wife, and I each of different credit cards so I would know who was drawn based upon the card that got hit. My son's card was hit. We put him in for unit 1 early rifle bull (1st choice) and unit 1 December cow (second choice). So it is possible that the stars might have aligned and he could have drawn a unit 1 early rifle bull tag with his 2 points. Nonetheless, we are planning on hunting cows in December.
1uglydude Report post Posted March 24, 2015 So my card was hit for elk early the first day, does that mean I probably got my first or second choice for ELK Timing of the charge has nothing to do with it. But, we can answer that question for you if you tell us what your 3rd through 5th choices were. Most hunts don't have any tags that fall to that final draw round. So, unless you listed some late archery hunts or LO hunts on your application, then you likely drew first or second.
jhedg Report post Posted March 24, 2015 Well if its first, that would be Cow in 9, or second Bull in 6a both seem good so I am happy
