IHunt2live Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Got a late start yesterday but the weather was so nice down here in the south it realy didn't matter. I went back to were I got my deer last year and wanted to set up my trail camera at a nearby tank but didn't like what I saw so I ended up not seeting it up. My wife and I hiked all day and ended up with these two finds. Old and chalky but they beat going home empty handed. I found the one on the left first then I began to look for they other side and not thirty feet away i found the one on the right. It was getting late so we had to head back and didn't find the other sides but I'll be back there sometime. Not sure but I think the one on the left might have had a little dropper that broke off. You might be able to see it in the pics Saw lots of does but no bucks, realy wasn't looking to hard.

TREESTANDMAN Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Nice finds. I don't think most of the chalky cracked sheds we find are as old as we sometimes think? I found a brown elk shed couple years ago, kept it out in the sun and it turned white w/in a couple of months.
azcouesandelk Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Great finds! That one on the right looks like a nice size shed also.
