111 Report post Posted March 13, 2015 As American sportsman and conservationist please flood Ms. Molly Brown with emails OPPOSING the Grand Canyon Watershed National Monument...The AZGFD Commission already opposes this designation. Molly.Brown@mail.House.gov Negative Impacts of Monument -Less resistance to Introduce Wolves to the area -F&G ability to keep and maintain water catchments could become restricted impacting Mule Deer and Bighorn Sheep -More rules and regulations -One step closer to lose hunting/recreation on the Strip and Kaibab
Elkhunter1 Report post Posted March 13, 2015 If Obama has his way the U.S. Park Service will have control and there will be no hunting, ranching , mining, Forest Service wild fire control and very limited if at all camping there. The initial numbers we have are very conservative at 20 to 40 million dollars lost just with the hunting licenses, tags, scouting and camping trips. You then add the guides, Taxi, allso the higher costs from the out of state tags, Governors tag, Mining and forestry income lost. That is a huge financial hit to Az.
