crazy4COUES Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Buy the bow that is the most comfortable for you to shoot. IMO these two bow types have no comparison. I would try to narrow it down a bit by asking yourself, Which one feels the best when you hold it by the grip? Then which one feels the best during the draw cycle and let off? Does it allow you to anchor comfortablly without feeling like your grip is wrong, draw cycle too soft, hard, let off too agressive, back wall mushy and soft or solid? These are the thing i would consider. I personally would like the BOWTECH better because that is what I shoot. It feels good to me, I like the grip, the smooth solid draw cycle, the SOLID adjustable draw stops. Then when you release an arrow and it hits were you are aiming faster than any other bow out there it just plain feels GOOD! Don't get caught up in the manufacturers or sales persons hype. Go with what feels best to you and ENJOY!

You also want to consider resale ablity in case you need to sell it in the future or want to upgrade. Bowtech will most likely sell quicker than Parker because it is more popular. A Mathews will probably sell easier than a bowtech and Parker because it is over-advertised. Most of the archery videos you see (primos excluded) involve mathews bows and swarovoski optics.
