Can Someone Please Explain This To Me?

Recommended Posts

well catfish... there's always a chance about them may or may not being there with a game cam. with a radio, someone has a visual on the animal and directing them towards it.

the idea is "fair" . If the kids were playing hide and seek in the back yard...and one kid was wired in to a kid sitting on the roof telling him or her where to look....

I could give a very long list of hunting styles that dont suit my personal taste, but thats the key isn't it? They dont suit me personally. That makes them neither good, bad, ethical, unethical, kosher, dogmatic or whatever other label people like to use. It just means I prefer a different method.

One thing I'm sure of is that theres already plenty of rules, and I dont believe we need more of them. I think radios are legal and should stay that way. If you dont like it then don't use them. Same with cameras, climbers, heat seeking rage broadheads, 100x nightforce scopes complete with a tp roll holder and magazine rack, etc.

Yeh, but then we would have to decide what rock size would be a legal rock. If the spear or club would be legal if made out of modern material or it would be considered primitive if made out of wood.

I don't think it could be said better. I will go one step further. I guarantee that those on the other side of this, have a HUGE NOSE PROBLEM!!!!!!! And can't keep outa the bidness of others in every aspect of life. I'm sure we all no the type. Sad thing is they are growing in numbers.

So a radio isn't fair chase but hiring a dozen guys to keep tabs on an animal until some guy with a lotta money gets time in his schedule to jet in and shoot it? It wasn't too many years that this was expressly illegal, but now if you have a lotta money it's not only legal but considered fair chase. Boy how times have changed. To each his own. Legal=ethical. I would love to see all these guys on both sides of ANY legal/ethical that has been on this site lately sit it the same room and talk the way they do on here, face to face. I bet the name calling would stop!

No matter what side of the fence you are on once you start name calling and attacking your arguement loses all credibility as you have shown that you no longer have facts and you are arguing based on emotion instead of facts. Keep it civil guys. I have noticed most of the name calling seems to come mostly from the anything goes crowd which tends to be the guys under 30. This isn't a 100% accurate of course but that seems to be the trend.

This used to be a really good site and it still is but it is more and more turning to the likes of monstermuleys hunt hard etc. disagreements are good and can be very productive if its handled correctly and like an adult.

On this topic, I don't use radios or cameras. I kill plenty of trophy animals with just time and knowledge of the animal. If you need to use whatever is LEGAL to take animals that your thing and that's fine but to call names defending your position says a bunch. Good luck and good hunting guys.

So guides are bad? Ok. That can be #4. But I think guides are ok. So I'm "unethical" I just don't like the posse deal for rich guys. That can be #5. Anything else we can make unethical? I still don't get the -30 guys being unethical? But, it was said so we gotta put it on the list. I hate liver. Can I put that on the list? And I dont think that there would be nothin said if some guys done the face to face. I think it'd be a big ol fistfight. Lark.
