Little Creek Calls Report post Posted March 3, 2015 I would look for a guide that spends a lot of time in your area. NOTAGS Report post Posted March 25, 2015 Unless you need a guide to call for you, you dont need a guide to find turkey on the 'bab. I have found turkey EVERYWHERE, from top to bottom. Their numbers there are crazy, hence the number of tags . Just travel ridgetops after dark, using locator calls till you have a tom respond, mark the spot and get set up near, not on, him before light. I have had great luck with hen dekes to bring in hesitant toms, they want some visual candy sometimes before they will commit. Be careful though, spring turkey hunting is addicting.
