rifle stock hydrodipping

Recommended Posts

Hello friends I bought some hydrodiping films and I've been playing around with them the last year and I'm thinking of getting a small side business going. I'm not trying to sell anything at this point I'll contact Amanda and do it right if I get there. I'm just gauging interest and looking to hear some feedback about what patterns everyone might be interested in so I can get a cost estimate together. Let me know what u think

Generally if it can be submerged in water it can be dipped. I've been getting some supplies and advice from a place in Arkansas, if there's enough interest I'm going take thier certification class and I'll get u a definative answer but I suspect it wouldn't be a problem

I'm in for one rifle stock!

Oh and on the rubberized stocks you can do it but it comes off if you rub it against stuff. You can sand off the rubberized material.

Oh I have some bow limbs I would like to do at some point as well!

You can have a clear coat of cerakote applied over the hydrodip also.

Good idea!

I was going to jump back on and suggest clear coat but didn't know cerakote had one. For the rubberized finish I am betting a clear coat of plastidip would probably work perfectly.

Thanks for all the interest! I'll make some calls about patterns, certifications and sponsorships tomorrow and get back with everyone interested

How about a bicycle frame? I have a mountain bike that has euro metro looking graphics and I could love it more if it was a bit more hillbilly lookin.

After the can holder make sure a lift kit is installed!
