SunDevil Report post Posted April 18, 2007 most cam corders today are the mini dv (mini tape) recorders and the footage stored on the tapes can be transferred and stored on a computer hard drive. you will need your cable to connect the cam corder to the computer and you will need to have the software on the computer that takes the footage off from the tape and writes it to your computers hard drive.
