Saw a nice buck while shed hunting

Recommended Posts

Well finally got out this weekend looking for sheds when I came across this guy. All I had was my video camera

with me so the pics I am attaching are taken with my phone off the tv. As soon as I can figure out how to get

my video to the puter I will post a video clip. I have never done this so it might take awhile.

Any how check em out and let me know what you think.

Wow!! Great looking buck. If you can't figure out downloading that video and posting it, you can always send me the tape and I will do it.

Thanks Amanda-

I just might take you up on that.

Dam....that buck has a huge frame when compared to his head/body! It's so tough goin' off pic's of a TV, but you did a good job with it........The beams always are hard for me to judge, but I come up with 107" ;) Yeah.......I'll stick with 107". JIM>

I think that buck is around 110. He has good length all the way around and huge mainbeams. He will get more mass next year also so I want to see your hands on his antlers this next year :D

Bah HaHaHaHaHa!!

Yeah, I saw the video and said 103-105..... and a younger looking buck.... The still pics make him look a bit better than he did in the video... even on pause, but that was on the view finder, too.... Either way he's a stud! I am pretty sure he will be bigger next year!! ;) Hope we find his sheds!!

Anyone think that they will be shed by May 5th????

Yeah, I bet you boys are right.....I'm sure I'm givin him too much for beams.....but I personnally don't think he's less than 104".......I'd kill it!

I would think most are sheddin' by May 5th, heck I was thinkin' some were sheddin' now? I really have no clue when Coues deer shed ;) BUT, I guarantee it's between March and July  :P
