ND browns, first trip of the year!

Recommended Posts

I put up a pic on another topic and thought I'd start a new thread with some ATL pics from last weekend. I found most of these in my yard. I plant 6 acres I corn and soybeans that I leave standing for the deer. I also supplemental feed them with a few hundred bushel of corn each winter. I usually have 100-150 deer in the yard and 100-200 pheasants! The cold gets old up here by march, but you can't beat the wildlife and hunting opportunities we have up here!!

That is awesome.....can't beat cornfed antlers.......cool setup you have.

Yes you can.... corn fed tenderloins!!! We have some tanks for bodies up here. My buddy shot a 3 1/2 yr old 130" 3 point management buck this year that weighed 268 gutted. I think that puts him over 300# on the hoof. Thing was a tank and not even the biggest bodied buck out there!

This is a pic of the buck that the matched set came from. I actually took that pic with my cell phone out the bedroom window during the muzzleloader season. Was gonna drop the hammer on him but if they can make it through our rifle season (which was over) they usually will make it to next year so I'm happy to say he should be around this fall if he doesn't get hit by a car!!
