hunter07 Report post Posted April 14, 2007 Im sure you all have heard about the bobcat that attacked a little girl around the base of the pinals in globe on easter. I live in globe and have been seeing alot of g&f trucks around lately. Im not talking the usuals we are all used to running into and having a nice conversation about the hunt, but these guys are dressed like they came straight out of the office. 3tv reported that it was rabid, so i was wondering if they send up the suits to do investigations like csi stuff or what. Any one got any ideas?
BASS Report post Posted April 14, 2007 That sounds like basic saturation patrol to me. Get as many trucks with officers driving around to make a presence known, with out actually getting very much done at all. But I suppose I'm still a little bitter, and they very well could be out looking for something.
monstercoues Report post Posted April 15, 2007 Wow, you are a lil bitter thats for sure. I am also at few things, but we will see what happens at the next commission meeting. The reason you are seeing more people around the area, whether in uniform or not is because they are looking for any other kinda sign in the wildlife around the area to see if anything else looks rabid. The other reason is when the news media is involved than they have non uniformed public relations people out of Phoenix come up and spread the word. The reason I know this is because my sister lives out there and she spoke to several of them. She has 3 kids and boy does she like to ask questions haha. Hope this helps.
