desertram33 Report post Posted February 22, 2015 Sorry guys, been really busy so I haven't got to respond. I appreciate all of the opinions and advice we will be loading our own rounds and will stay around the 150 gr. bullet. I had him shoot several rounds from an 06 of my cousins to make sure he could handle the recoil and he did and liked it with a quality recoil pad and smaller grain bullet of course I would not have him shoot 180 gr. yet. He has saved up some of his own money to buy a rifle which isn't quite as much as he needs so my wife and I will be covering the rest I'm just making sure it is 100% what he wants. I told him to think about it over the weekend and let me know so we can make a decision. I also wanted him to see different options and prices of what was out there and will have him read your comments as well. Sorry for the long story.
