8OWHUNT247 Report post Posted February 17, 2015 6.oh no.... Several problems, none of which are horrible, just a pain. (03-06) 6.4 - Have their own set of problems along with it being the biggest fuel guzzler that ford has ever produced (07-10) 6.7 - One of the best ford has produced.. Superior to the sought after 7.3 IMO (11-New) I've heard great things about the dodge diesels, you can go that route if you are okay with not having a functional interior.. WinMag Report post Posted February 18, 2015 92 Dodge 3500 DW Cummins 5 speed went thru 6 transmissions in 90,000 miles...... 2006 Chevy Duramax went thru two front end rebuilds in the first 40,000 miles, that year of 3/4 T Chevy was junk...... 2010 Dodge Cummins truck was gutless and in and out of the shop for issues daily...... 2012 Dodge Cummins ran it for 60,000 miles without doing anything but change the fluids in it, great truck with a ton of power....... Now have a 2014 3500 SW Cummins and love the truck, best truck I have owned to date. Have some friends with Fords, But I don't hold it against them.
