hoghntr Report post Posted February 13, 2015 http://www.amazon.com/ALPS-Outdoorz-Realtree-Traverse-Hunting/dp/B00E3Q7Y1A/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1420338786&sr=8-4&keywords=alps+backpack If your on tighter budget than these guys try this.. I really like mine and this is what was suggested by another member when i was looking for a badlands! not as heavy duty and as gnarly as badlands but I will get years of use out of more practical pack and have hundreds left in my pocket. verrrrrrrrrrrry nice for the $

GreyGhost85 Report post Posted February 13, 2015 can't beat an eberlestock. other than being a bit heavy, you cannot beat all of the features they have. perfect for the western hunter. i have loaded mine up with pushing 200 pounds of elk more than a time or two. rclouse79 Report post Posted February 13, 2015 I started out with a badlands, then went to a eberlestock, then a kifaru. The kifaru timberline is head and shoulders above the other two in my opinion. I liked the badlands pack and really tried to like the eberlestock but for some reason could not get it to fit comfortably. If you are able to jump straight to a kifaru I don't think you would regret the purchase. I know I haven't.
desertram33 Report post Posted February 13, 2015 Thanks for the info guys I appreciate it. I decided to go with the Eberlestock Blue Widow and the Badlands Sacrifice liked them both so we'll see how they do this fall.
