Currently, the Office of General Counsel is reviewing this matter and will provide legal advice to the agency on how to proceed with forest planning. All public collaboration efforts specific to forest planning are postponed until further direction is available. As we know more on how to proceed with forest planning we will share this information. " Is this refering to the new management plan? I thought that this plan had not been implemented yet Anybody Know the story behing all of this?
cmc Report post Posted April 12, 2007 It's listed on almost every FS region web page. My guess is that the new plan that was submitted that the FS would follow has a serious legal issue that needs tending to. When it doubt leave it up to General Counsel. Not good. Have to look into this one a bit more, good catch. cmc
