jbone Report post Posted April 10, 2007 What a joke, 900 tags for the west side 300 east side october 12!!! g&f and Mr. Buck don't have a clue, their excuse is to many older aged deer are being killed during early november. This is their answer to that problem. Now we can put 900 hunters on the west side and all hunt the same range, sounds like B.S. to me! Talk about a road hunters dream, thats all that will be going on. If you want a tag I imagine that would be a good bet for the fall. Got to be crazy if you want to be up there with 900 others with rifles in the summer range. But I guess that is their objective, increase hunter opportunity by increasing tags. Who needs deer in AZ!! I guess not us. The 1000 tags for juniors the 2 weeks before the late hunt is another Joke!
