G85226 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I have have had this bag for several years camped in some pretty gnarly terrain. You cant go wrong with this bag and a good sleeping pad. Remember you get what you pay for and when you spend $$$ your paying for lightweight. A couple compression sacks will help shrinking everything so you can pack more heavy stuff into your pack. http://www.rei.com/product/847520/sierra-designs-zissou-12-sleeping-bag http://www.rei.com/c/sleeping-pads-cots-and-hammocks?ir=category%3Asleeping-pads-cots-and-hammocks&sort=sc_revenue&r=category%3Acamping-and-hiking%7Csleeping-pads-cots-and-hammocks%3BSleeping-Pad-Type%3AAir%20pad&page=
BruinPoint Report post Posted February 6, 2015 I bought a REI Flash 30 Long for a wilderness elk hunt last year and ended up loving it. Mine weighs the advertised 1lb 12oz and I slept warm down to the low 20's wearing a base layer and beanie on the colder nights. http://www.rei.com/product/862529/rei-flash-sleeping-bag#tab-specs
