Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted April 10, 2007 Man.... that is tuff... Bet you've stretched your leg kickin' yourself in the arss.... for passin' up that bull! Same genetics in there for sure.... I agree that 1 & 3 are the same and I'm at about 360"-370" on him and I think that the #2 bull is about 350"-355"+....unless the pics are way deceiving, you may have really messed up.... Bull #2 is wider, & longer on the bottom... the only thing that makes #1-3 better is that extra point....IMO...... It is still IMPOSSIBLE to tell from pictures..... just my gut talkin'.... Wow..... I'm stickin' with my score on #2...... But #3 is a Grunt on the hoof!!!! Man! 380"-385"????......... 383 2/8" He wasn't that big in the #1 pics...... 365"-370" as bull #1 ('04)..... Maybe wrong, but it looks soo right!!
Lance Report post Posted April 10, 2007 Ahh yes! I reconise that bull now. Thoes last pictures reminded me of where I have seen this bull before! Did you take the last pictures as well? I did't realise that was you that took the night pictures of him. I also didn't realise he is now dead. Can I change my score+? You shouldn't feal bad at all for passing the #2 bull, he's just a baby.

Yes bull#3 was harvested in 05'.

111 Report post Posted April 11, 2007 Thanks for all the posts helping score these elk. It looks like most agree that Bull#1 and Bull#3 are likely the same, which I've been curious as to what other elk fanatics thought about it and you all helped out a lot! Bull#1 had scores from 345-370. Bull#2 scores from 320-355. Bull#3 scores from 345-391. Official score was 388 1/8, with a 33 7/8" spread. My thoughts before were both bull#1 and Bull#3 were the same. Ever since taking the video I thought Bull#1 was about 370-375. It looks like he put on about 15-20 inches the following year of 05' where we had a lot of rain in Arizona. Thanks again for your responses!
