PRDATR Report post Posted February 2, 2015 I remember the same thing happen about 2002 or so when with seconds left in the game the leading team threw an interception. I read about the end to last nights game this morning as I had only been watching a little bit of the game last night as stopped watching it in the middle of the third quarter. bonecollector Report post Posted February 2, 2015 I liked the play call because it failed!
idgaf Report post Posted February 2, 2015 I can see the strategy with the play call. throw if its incomplete run with lynch on third down use last time out and run again on fourth. I do not think the play call was that bad, just an outstanding play from the corner.

elkaholic Report post Posted February 2, 2015 Ok - the luck ran out - trick plays - goofy catches - it all makes for a interesting game instead of a blow out . actually the reffing was better than I thought it would be look at all the play offs - won in the last 2 minutes a game to go down in history as the worse BONEHEAD call --- on the 1 yard line in Superbowl History A fight in the goal line area with 12 seconds left - A first in Super bowl history - that I can remember A player getting ejected with 12 seconds left - A first in superbowl history- that I can remember Yes the seahawks will go down in Superbowl History - but not as glorious 3 peat winners
BeardownAZ Report post Posted February 2, 2015 I could handle the loss better if New England just stuffed the run and won it. Its hard to swallow though when your own team, coaches especially, work against you by making an easy decision over complicated. Oh well. More important things in life. Fun season either way

I do not think the play call was that bad, just an outstanding play from the corner. I see your point, but at least run a play action and try to trick the defense. They didn't even do that. For the record, I'm glad Seattle lost. I would hate to see a division rival win it all on our home field.
Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted February 2, 2015 Speaking of calls....how about that call just before the half....nobody goes for that these days, they just kick the field goal.......still puking over the last play of the game call......and I hate both teams......was hoping that they both lost......
Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted February 2, 2015 Course, if you are only there because you don't want to get fined then Lynch probably didn't want the ball anyway
deserttacoma84 Report post Posted February 2, 2015 Proof that pro sports are rigged!!! i dont give rats butt about sports but how in the heck could you have rigged that last drive? Thats the point. How else can you make a call to throw on 2nd and goal with one time out left. Kearse wasnt supposed to make that catch. Patriots were meant to win. The seattle defense laid down the whole 2nd half...That call will go down as the worst play call in football history. Their were so many different options to play why not play action with the option on wilson to throw or run. Game was in the bag.
DesertBull Report post Posted February 2, 2015 Wiesenhut made a similar goofy call when Kurt Warner threw almost the exact same pass against the Steelers but it went back the other way for 6. It was last play of the half but still ended up being the difference in the game.

I am willing to bet by the way the corner jumped the route that they have called that play several times before in that situation. Doomed by their previous success. I am unbiased on this one I hate both teams. I do hate New England less though.
