J.S.R. Report post Posted January 29, 2015 Went out this morning to try and help my Dad fill his tag. We ended up seeing just over 50 deer. 8 of those being coues. Of the mule deer we saw we only saw 2 young bucks. A respectable 2 point and a smaller 3x3. To our surprise both bucks were pushing does. The small 3x3 had a very bum shoulder and was limping everywhere. We think he may have been shot but he sure was chasing! Out of the coues deer we saw one very nice buck that was also rutting! We only got to watch him for a couple minutes before he disappeared into the bottom with his doe but I managed to snap one pretty crappy picture. Haha. We guessed him around 105-110 the picture doesn't do him justice but he has great eye guards, incredible mass and 3-4 extras.
