Guest wdenike Report post Posted January 27, 2015 Wow!!!!! Do you all think them S&B, US optics, and the rest of the bunch automatically kill chit for ya???? Sounds like the glass, just look through um and getter done!!!!! I'll have to give some of this chit a second evaluation. As I have definitely over looked something????? mattys281 Report post Posted January 27, 2015 You didn't really think after getting that fancy hawk branded on their arse, and tattooed on their arm. And more importantly all that money they can explain they spent. That you were going to hear, yes I did get buyers remorse. Because there are other products that get the job done. Did you????? Come on now!!!!!!!! :P Take care, Willie I bought a $1000 vortex scope last year, used it once and decided I didnt like it. Decent glass just too big and I didnt think that specific scope was worth that much denero. So I returned it and got my money back. I was curious if any one had the same experience with leica or swaros. After two pages though it seems like the guys that own them love them and the guys who dont own them dont feel theyre worth it. Thats pretty logical. I think i'll swing by cabelas or outdoorsmans and see if I can do an outside comparison. Im hard pressed to spend $ 2000 on anything that doesnt have c cups (minimum), a flat tummy and a backside you could bounce a quarter off of but im interested in finding out for myself. Doesnt cost anything to look.... unlike those c-cups.

mattys281 Report post Posted January 27, 2015 I get hookers way cheaper than that bro ^ Compared to my divorce that ^^^ would've been a bargain. Dont want think about how many.... uhhhhmmmm..... binoculars.... I could've bought just for what the lawyer got out of me. Lets just say I could've looked through some that were a lot nicer than the one at home and and they'd probably bring other binoculars to the party with them.
HuntHarder Report post Posted January 27, 2015 Money well spent. I will say that used Swarovski's and Leica's are clearer IMO than Vortex Razor's. You can usually find some used ones for 1k- 1500 for HD. Start with a used model and if you need more, then go spend the money. If you buy used, you will have already taken the hit for resale value, and likely can resell them for the same or not much less than what you have in them. Will you see exponentially more animals with swaro's vs. Vortex. The answer is no. Learning how to glass will allow you to see more animals. once you learn how to glass, finding the right optics for your eyes will allow you to glass for longer periods of time. Glassing for longer periods of time, allows you to find animals, you would not have found had you done just a 15 minute glassing session. I have owned Swaro's for over 10 years, and my eyes love them. Figure out what your eyes like, and you will be happy. Good luck
trphyhntr Report post Posted January 27, 2015 I get hookers way cheaper than that bro ^ But can you bounce the quarter????? That is the question. In Cabo San Lucas, yes. I also like how with the swarovskis you don't have to be on the dial focusing all the time.

Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted January 27, 2015 If you are buying long term glass you get what you pay for... If you like to switch around and only use glass for a few years it may not pay off... but Age... 5+ year old glass will show you the great glass from the cheap stuff, IMO.
